Dec 8th – 12th, a 5-day Ekphrastic Microfiction workshop with Meg Pokrass and Lorette C. Luzajic, Founding Editor of the Ekphrastic Review! We’ll be focusing on writing ekphrastic stories inspired by the work of female artists, offering highly generative, creative prompts from selected paintings.
Artists throughout history in many different cultures faced immense obstacles, and women even more so. Few female painters or sculptors have been acknowledged by history or books, and yet we have a rich legacy of creativity if we dig between the lines to find gold.
We’ll be offering highly generative, creative prompts from selected paintings. Both instructors will comment and offer feedback on every story. The course will be held in a private Facebook group. Dates: Dec. 8th – 12th. $195 USD. Enrollment is limited. Please let Meg Pokrass know if you would like to enroll by emailing her directly.
